Are the beads safe?
Perler Beads would like to reassure you that their beads are safely made using LDPE, a food-grade plastic. There are no harmful chemicals in the beads, as may have been found in similar products. The beads are manufactured in California of materials obtained entirely in the United States and are routinely tested to meet all required safety standards.
Are Perler and Hama beads and pegboards interchangeable?
Yes. Perler beads can be used on Hama pegboards and vice versa.
How do fusebeads work?
1.Colored beads are placed on reusable pegboards in any pattern or design. 2.The design is ironed for 10 seconds using special ironing paper and an iron set on medium heat to fuse the beads together. 3.When the design is cool, peel the ironing paper off and lift the design from the pegboard. 4. The design can be flipped over and ironed on the opposite side to fuse the beads evenly.
